I’ll be honest- it was difficult trying to narrow the list down, but I did it because these TED talks are simply mind-blowing, and they’re all my favorites. If you’re feeling like a vegetable, absolutely uninspired or even stuck up, waiting for your “aha” moment, here are 9 must-see TED talks that will definitely wake you up and could potentially change your entire life.
1. Do You See the Signs of the Universe?
Ulla Suokko | TEDxBigSky
Call it the universe, a superpower, whatever. I call it God. I believe God has a plan for all of us and He is in constant communication with us about those plans. We just have to start seeing it. This talk is all about that.
2. 7 things to do before you graduate college.
Liz Wessel | TEDxRutgers
The title is quite self-explanatory. Liz mentions 7 very interesting things you should do as a college student. All of them involving self-confidence, boldness and doing new things to make your time in college fruitful and memorable!
3. Find your dream job without ever looking at your resume.
Laura Berman Fortgang | TEDxBocaRaton
I cannot explain how much I loved this talk. When I first watched it, I was stunned to my bones.
If you’ve done a million things, taken so many different classes and crash courses, but somehow you just can’t figure out what you want to do in life, watch this Ted talk and I promise you’ll find something and your life will never be the same.
4. How Your Brain Falls In Love
Dawn Maslar | TEDxBocaRaton
Watch this Ted talk if you’re dating or you have something of a crush (which I’m sure you do). Dawn is such a good orator and her idea will surely change the way we look at love.

5. How to Achieve Your Most Ambitious Goals.
Stephen Duneier | TEDxTucson
I love this one because of the simplest formula Stephen gives. And his life is a living example of how he used this formula to achieve literally everything he wanted to.
6. How to Become Your Best When Life Gives You Its Worst
Peter Sage | TEDxKlagenfurt
Peter tells the story of his life in prison and how he brought about a positive social change being a prisoner in one of the toughest jails in England.
7. 3 questions to ask yourself about everything you do.
Stacey Abrams
A simple story from her teen years that inspired Stacy to become an American politician, lawyer, voting rights activist, and author in Georgia state. This one personally inspired me to believe in all my dreams and that there are very few obstacles that can stop you from being the person God wants you to be.
8. The Skill of Humor
Andrew Tarvin | TEDxTAMU
If you’re feeling low, watch this. We don’t really have to be so serious all the time and this talk is a reminder of that truth.
9. Programming your mind for success
Carrie Green | TEDxManchester
Carrie is the owner of FEA or, Female entrepreneurs association. How cool, right? But that’s not how it always was. Carrie talks about her journey starting in college, what happened along the way and what helped her discover and pursue her path.
I could scoop out many more, but let’s just leave it at 9 for now!
TED talks are all about people who are ordinary and simple like us. The only difference there is, if any, is that they chose to dig deep into themselves, tried a couple things, weren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. These people chose to make the best of what God gave them.
